The Interchange is a free materials exchange program connecting Greater Cincinnati area industries that generate by-products with industries that can reuse or recycle those materials. This program is designed to assist businesses and other organizations improve their bottom line, decrease waste, and reduce their reliance on landfills.

The Interchange is administered by the District in Cincinnati, Ohio. While the program is regional, anyone may request information online about the materials listed.

Materials generated by a business or organization are listed in the Materials Available section. Materials wanted by a business are listed in the Materials Wanted section.

Request Contact Information Regarding a Listing

All listings are displayed with a code instead of company specific information. To receive contact information, simply fill out the Listing Request form and The Interchange staff will forward the contact information within two business days.

Place a Listing

To place a listing, please visit the Listing Submittal page and fill out the requested information. Your listing will be posted on the website within two business days and published in the next edition of the quarterly newsletter.

Report an Exchange

Please inform The Interchange staff about your experience using the program. Filling out the Report an Exchange form allows staff to improve the program and measure the success of The Interchange. Hamilton County entities may receive an award for reporting their exchange.
