The District is offering an hour-long evening seminar focusing on the basics of backyard composting. Participants learn how to balance a compost bin, what materials are compostable, and some troubleshooting. At the end of the hour, Hamilton County residents receive a free kitchen collector, a "Simple Guide to Composting in Your Backyard" booklet and an "I heart Compost" magnet.
