County Kicks-Off New Air Quality Education and Outreach Program

New Air Quality Education Program focuses on classroom presentations, community outreach and much more!

Are you interested in learning more about air quality? Would you like to have a hands-on presentation given in your classroom regarding air quality? Now you can!

Many of you may have already participated in solid waste programs, or even in soil and water programs, ... but what about air?

In response to the need for additional education on air quality issues and concerns, the Hamilton County Department of Environmental Services (Department) has hired a specialist to focus on air quality education and outreach initiatives.

Similar to the Department's solid waste education program, the air quality program will include classroom presentations and hands-on activities, lesson plans, outreach materials, and much more! The free program will be made available to teachers and students in Butler, Clermont, Hamilton and Warren counties.

If you are a teacher in one of these four counties and are interested in learning more about the program, please call Sarah Brugger at (513) 946-7748.

More information about the air quality program will be coming soon!
