Welcome to the Hamilton County Solid Waste Management District!

Dedicated to promoting recycling, waste reduction and responsible
waste management within Hamilton County.

Vision Statement

The Hamilton County Solid Waste Management District provides ethical environmental leadership to equitably promote the public good through innovative and responsible strategies leading to the management of all waste as a resource that leads to a society that generates zero waste.

The Hamilton County Solid Waste Management District (SWMD) is divided into three sectors: Residential Outreach, Business and Industry Outreach and Education Outreach. Within these divisions is information on recycling in your home or community, business materials exchange information, and teacher resources, to name a few.
